Helpfull hints for Lingere Lovers

As Christmas has past, I went today to put one of my favorite gifts to use, my Victorias Secret gift cards. I will say I have a bit of a lingere fetish, I have for many years,.I just love the sexy, empowered feeling I get when wearing beautiful lingere, even if im wearing sweats over it and no one else is going to see.

  You must think of lingere as an accessory to your wardrode, here are some helpful tips I use in choosing and maintaining my lingere.
 
First things first, make sure you get measured once a year as weight gain or loss can affect your sizing.

Always wear matching sets, you never know what can happen...

When trying on shapewear, sit down, this is a test to make sure you can still breathe when doing so while out on the town.

Always wear nude under white for an invisible natural look.

Purchase your bras in accordance with your outfit needs, strapless, low cut, plunging, ect...clear staps are just tacky!

Always hand wash in cold water, when my schedule is busy, I will machine wash in cold water on the gentle cycle using a mild detergent such as woolite, air dry flat on top of dryer, and mold cups back.into shape if needed. Victorias Secret used to also carry a lingere detergent but I no longer have luck finding it.

Invest in the Victorias Secret lingere bag, a special foam lining keeps molded bras safe while in the washer and fits up to four bras, it retails for about $10.

As usual I hope these tips will be helpfull, so go out and have fun raiding the lingere stores!

Hi all...today as I was doing some beauty research, I came across this chart to help with the choosing and application of foundation, I know many women have problems picking the proper shade, ect so hopefully this is helpfull :-)

Skin Care for the men in our lives

Today I want to talk about mens skincare, I dont think they realize that it is just as important for them as it is for us, I am a skincare freak so this is one of the first things I notice (my sister has picked on me about this for years), men dont realize that they should be exfoliating and moisturizing, especially the ones who work outside as they are often exposed to sun and wind which can wreak havoc on the skin and speed up the aging process.
 
Men are not always as excited as us to go out and find skincare products for themselves ( cudos to the ones that are) so it is our job as their women to do this for them and help "preserve their sexy" because thats just what good skincare and grooming is....sexy!

I would like to recomnend some skincare products that are great for men and they come courtesy of one of my favorite people...Bobbi Brown, I am a huge fan of her cosmetics and skincare products and her less is more philosophy. DIY Whipped Coconut Oil Body Butter

As the winter months are now here, our skin needs xtra care, especially if your like me and have a mild case of Psoriasis or Eczema. Winter means plenty of exfoliation and moisturizing so Im going to give you a recipe for a simple and effective coconut oil body butter made with only two ingredients, coconut oil and vitamin E.
You will need the following:
     
      1 cup coconut oil ( I use organic coconut oil that I purchase at my local health store, its the best)

    1 tbl spoon Vitamin E Oil

Do not melt coconut oil before mixing, it must be in solid form to whip.
Add both coconut oil and vitamin E oil in a bowl and mix on high with hand mixer or Kitchen Aid untill it reaches a creamy, whipped consistancy pour in mason jar for storage and you are done, you may want to store in the fridge if your house stays at a considerably warm temp and remember that you dont need alot as this is oil based.
  I use this everday immediatly after showering, it does wonders for my dry skin and the smell is pleasant also.
Winterize and pamper the skin your in!

Red lipstick : The LBD of makeup

One of the trends that I see everywhere is red lipstick , I love this because to me its a timeless classic.
  Some women are scared of red lipstick...but why... I know it can be intimidating because its such a bold choice, and your not sure if the color will look right on you or go with your skintone, ect...but lets look at the pros...its bold, it makes your teeth look whiter ( which is always of great importance to me), and lets face it, what women dosnt feel sexy in red lipstick, besides that its just downright empowering.
I am fair/medium complexion and I love Two Faced la creme in Stilleto Red which I purchase at my "makeup wonderland" Sephora, also I recommend MAC All Fired Up Retro Matte lipstick, Revlon colorburst lipstick in True Red is great for fair skin and can be purchased at.any drugstore or on Amazon.
