Hi everyone, hope all is well and everyone enjoyed the holiday...With the Christmas break upon us, Ive had some free time on my hands do to no dance class, cheerleading practice, ect.
During this spare time, Ive had the pleasure of finding some good reads, one of which is " How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton World" by Jordan Christy. I love this book, not only is it for adults, but I think this a great book for our teen daughters approaching the high school years.
In this book Jordan touches on manners and appropriate behavior, she explains that its ok to be educated and speak like so and not like one of the "stupid girls" refered to in Pink's hit song or like the reality show trash that floods our t.v.'s, she goes on to say that it is ok to dress in a classy, more demure way rather than letting it all hang out for attention, also discussed is work and dating etiquette and so much more.
You can purchase this book at any bookstore, I myself ordered it from amazon, I give this book 3 stars and I will be making sure my teen will be reading this in the summer prior to entering the ninth grade, remember ladies...classy is always better than trashy!
